Infinite Pt. 2: Complex Paradox
Staring. You're staring. At her. Look at her. Oh wait, I am, is all he can think. Paradox spent most of his life with just his grandfather, so it's not like he's the smoothest. Although there was that one time... but he knows how that bs ended. But, he thinks, gramps was great with the ladies. maybe i have some of his...charm? Just as he begins to doubt himself more, she walks over towards him. Pupils dilate, thoughts race. She's in a tight dark orange shirt, black leggings and pink running shoes. Her hair was almost bronze and gold, and she had this look. The look that really screamed "optimism", "belief", hope. A hope that shone a bright light into his core. She had on a name tag too. Gabriela. It made sense. More sense than anything. "Hey, can i ask you a few questions?" Think fast. Be clever, gramps was always clever. "Only if there's a reward after them." A frown formed on her face. Damn I'm bombing, he thought. "Sorry, its nothing like that. Nevermind" she said and then began to turn."WAIT!" he said, probably a little too loud. She turned to him and he said "I'm sorry. That was stupid of me. I'll answer anything you ask, just as long as it isn't about my awkward preteen years." She smiled slightly and kinda giggled. It was, heavily exaggerated, the cutest thing he had ever seen or heard. "Okay, so I work for a group that is aiming to make people smarter, faster and stronger. But not through any chemicals or anything harmful. Would you be a person interested in becoming better than you are now?" His initial response was to laugh, but he pushed this down. He smiled slightly and looked down, saying "there isn't much I can do to better myself. Unless this also boosts my looks and how i talk to girls" Too much was said again. Not as clever as the old man was, he made this so much easier. Then it happened. She laughed. And with that laugh he thought he could trust this girl with anything. "Well," she started saying, "thank you anyway." He nodded, and then realized this meant she was leaving, and so the smile he had while talking to her faded. And he knew it was back to his grim reality. She looked at him with the same bronze colored eyes as her beautiful hair. Her bright eyes and his dark eyes met, and in that moment, he could have sworn she knew exactly what had happened to him throughout his entire life. And she wanted to help. "so," she said, "what reward do you want??" He blinked. "wait, I get to decide?" She smiled and nodded her head yes. He thought. He really did. And then, it came to him. "I wanna take you somewhere." She smiled and said "okay, I get off in 15 minutes." "Time won't be an issue, trust me", he said just realizing how creepy and brooding he sounded. But her optimism didn't leave her eyes. "Okay", she said. "So what are we gonna do?" Paradox blushed a bit and said " uh..well.. I need you to lock arms with me." She smiled harder and laughed and grabbed his arm. "Show me something great, okay?" she asked of him. "Alright", he said. "Don't blink". And in a flash, they were gone. She didn't recognize it at first, but then it all registered to her. They were atop a hill, staring at a full moon. "Where-how- it was just the afternoon in the middle of downtown. How are we-" she starts rambling. "Shh," Paradox says to her. "You're gonna miss the best part" he says as he points to the sky. As she turns around, she sees the first star come gliding past the moon. And then in clusters, the stars begin falling from the sky all around them. Meteor by meteor, the sky is lit up by the full moon and the blaze surrounding the shooting stars. Gabriela is astonished, feeling a full body sensation. Almost out of body. "It's... beautiful" she breathes out. "Like the sky is light years away." She spins to him and says "but that's not possible. The last time there was a full moon and a meteor shower was-" "December 17, 2013. Less than a year ago, actually. Not that hard to get to," Paradox says without looking away from the sky. She moves closer. Close enough that her heavy breath is hitting his chest. "I only met you... and yet i feel like I've known you for years. I feel...connected," she says as she slowly touches his arm. He looks down into her amazing eyes, heart thumping. Wait, what am I supposed to do in this situation he thinks to himself. Then, as if his granddad whispered it into his ear from beyond the grave, he grabs her and kisses her deep and long. And then...they warp away.

Quiz Up is the new game everyone's playing. Rules are simple; you go into a category, and find an opponent. There are 7 questions, and you get 10 seconds to answer each. The first 6 questions are worth 20 points. The final round is worth 2x points. If you know the category, it's very easy to level up. If not, then you can learn from simply playing more and more. With each 10 levels, you can get a new title, to show off to others that you have knowledge in that area. You can add friends and challenge them whenever you like. You can play your turn and then wait for them to go. You can earn achievements from doing things like playing 100 matches or going head-to-head wit people from all over the globe. O ME! O life!... of the questions of these recurring;
Of the endless trains of the faithless—of cities fill’d with the foolish;
Of myself forever reproaching myself, (for who more foolish than I, and who more faithless?)
Of eyes that vainly crave the light—of the objects mean—of the struggle ever renew’d;
Of the poor results of all—of the plodding and sordid crowds I see around me; | 5 |
Of the empty and useless years of the rest—with the rest me intertwined;
The question, O me! so sad, recurring—What good amid these, O me, O life?
That the powerful play goes on, and you will contribute a verse. |
I'm the best off Adderall.
take your favorite rapper and give him a sabbatical
flow like earthquakes and hurricanes, so natural
you couldn't reach these heights if you were standing in a ladder hall
me vs A B C D I'm better than the latter, all
my competition is pencil written
my victory carved into the stone like a commandment
i dont ask for your respect i demand it
i dont fear my city i command it
i like to end rhymes abruptly.

i dont ask for your respect i demand it
i dont fear my city i command it
i like to end rhymes abruptly.

Strength
Strength. Inside every man, woman, and child is the strength of legends. We all have something in life that pushes us to be stronger than ever before. Be it a person or a goal, a way of life or someone else's way of living. Be it revenge or sovereignty, we all must rise to the occasion and outperform the adversity in front of us. When the time comes, will you find your strength?

Because the Internet
That's the answer artist Childish Gambino is giving us to what I can only assume is a plethora of questions. "who is he?" "when did he get here? HOW did he get into the rap game?"
Gambino, or known by his real name Donald Glover, has been an up and coming artist for some time, and dropped his second studio album, Because the Internet toward the end of 2013. This album comes after his album Camp, which really gave us a look into his past and how he has become as an adult. This new album, however, gives us a more in depth look into how fame has affected his life, including friendships (fake and real), relationships with girls, and the people of his past. Throughout the album, you can also sense he is trying to piece together parts of a story that not even he is sure as to how they got into the crazy puzzle that is his life. The album is a banger, a must buy, even when there are so many places to download it from. And as if making such a great album wasn't enough, it was revealed that he has a screenplay written for the entire album. And the website it's on has the whole album. So if you want to hear the album and read a really really good screenplay, go to "becausetheinter.net".
